Mayor Donna Pittman

Mayor Donna Pittman is a native of DeKalb County and longtime resident of Doraville. Donna Pittman was elected Mayor during a Special Election in the Summer of 2011 and was re-elected to a full four-year term in the Fall with 61% of the vote. Prior to being elected Mayor, she served on the Doraville City Council – representing District 1, where she rose to Mayor Pro Tem.

Mayor Pittman’s commitment to improving her community is unwavering. She served as a DeKalb County Community Relations Officer before entering politics, and is one of the original members of the board that helped establish the Peachtree Charter School. As the first woman elected Mayor of Doraville, she has received acclamations from the State of Georgia, The Consolate General and Cross Keys High School. She often speaks at local schools and gives back by mentoring future leaders of DeKalb County. Mayor Pittman is a proud wife of a former Marine and mother of four wonderful children.
